Arbor Victoria- 12 months old

Milestones: She loves to walk. Never see her crawling anymore. 

*She can follow simple tasks and totally grasps the word and understanding of, "NO!" 

*She is able to say: Mama, Dada, hi, bye, on, Nana (nani), nigh-night, more, ball, sissy, jade. 

*She is able to sign: more, all done, bye-bye, wave hi, eat, and her fav is please!! 

*Animal sounds that she knows are: doggy, cow, and she loves to do monkey with her hands. 

Sleep: Goes to bed between 7-8pm and has been sleeping in till 7:30-8:15am. Some days it's even 8:30am. She still takes two naps. Usually 10-11:30am and. 2:30pm- 4:30 or 5pm. She loves the sleep with her lovie, and couple of pacis, and a soft homemade taggy! 

Best Moment: Celebrating her first birthday at Aunt Meggy's house. It was a mermaid theme party with lots of yummy food and swimming. She had a blast. Wasn't so sure about the cake but she LOVES ice cream. 

Worst Moment: Sweet girl has 6 teeth now! She's a trooper but def struggles and is not the happiest camper when her teeth hurt!! 

Eating: She still nurses 2-4 times a day. Always when she wakes up and before bed. Sometimes before nap but not all the time. If it were up to her she would be just fine with drinking from a straw and forgetting about her breast milk!! She loves to eat in her high chair. She doesn't have many dislikes but sometimes meats (if they're not cut up right) aren't her fav! She loves yogurt and all fruits!! 

Extras: She loves to swim and go under the water. Her sissy is her best friend and I can't wait to watch them grow up together. It melts my heart to see them so sweet (most of the time) together!!! We love you beyond words Arbor Victoria!!!

Arbor Victoria- 11 months old

Age: 11 months

Height: 28 inches

Weight: 17.2lbs

Milestones: We have a walker (6.5.16). She prefers to walk all over these days. She thinks she's a pro! 

Sleep: Goes to bed between 7-8pm and wakes around 7-730am. Naps are usually 9-11a (usually first nap is two hours after she wakes up) and 230-430p. It's been awhile now since she has cried when we put her in her crib for nap or bed time. She usually is crawling out of our arms to get into her bed..

Best Moment: Watching her develop her own sassy little personality. She loves people and especially kids. She is a joy and her smile is contagious!!! 

Worst Moment: She is officially getting her third top tooth. Hasn't complained too much but can tell it bothers her at times. She's much more feisty than Ayns ever was at this age!! Lol

Eating: She still nurses at 9am, 1pm, 5pm and before bedtime.  She LOVES to eat!!! Some of her favs are blueberries, quinoa, spinach, ham, nutrigrain bars, oatmeal, and yogurt!!! 

Extras: She gets so excited when she sees other kids. She loves going to the nursery at church and loves walking through target and seeing all the other kiddos. She is becoming very playful and starting to understand "no." Can't wait to see what this next month brings!!

Arbor Victoria- 10 months old

Height: 27 3/4inches

Weight: 16lb 14oz 

Milestones:

She will now stand solo with nothing to hold onto. She will walk all over with her walker or as long as she's holding into our fingers! 5.3.16

Sleep: She goes to bed usually between 7-730pm. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later. All depends on how crabby she is or what we have going on! She will sleep till about 530-630, eat, then right back to bed till 745-8am. She then naps around 930-1130 and then again from 2-4pm. She loves her crib and will lay right down (as long as she has her lovie with her!!). 

Best Moment: She wraps her left arm around my neck as right as she can..she's not a big snuggler. But when she's tired or just wants her Mama she's a great snuggler. 

Worst Moment: She's been trying to cut her top teeth and is just plain miserable! 

Eating: She usually will have an early to

Mid morning feed, 0830, 1230, sometimes 2pm depending on how well she nursed at 1230, and then again around 430 or 5p, then right before bed. 

She still loves drinking from a straw or sippy cup...but most ends up down her front vs in her mouth.  She loves all foods except avocados. She would rather it big people food vs ground baby food. She loves crackers and bananas. 

Extras: She went underwater for the first time on 5.6.16. She loves the pool, bath time, her big sister, lovie, snacks, being outside, and playing independently. She is such a sweet little thing and oh-so ornery at times, too!!! Can't believe she's 10months!! 

Arbor Victoria- 9 months old

Weight: 16lbs 11oz (3oz smaller than her big sis was at this age). 

Milestones:

Laying to sitting- 3.17.16 --> moved crib down to lowest setting. 

Sitting to standing- 4.14.16

Regular crawl- 4.17.16

Pushes walker to walk- 4.20.16

Signs "more" and "please" 3.29.16

Sleep: 

Naps- 915-1100am or so.. Then again around 1pm-330 or 4pm. Bed time around 700-730pm. She doesn't really do anything consistent overnight yet. She'll go a couple nights waking at 5-530, eat, and goes back to bed till 8ish. Or she'll sleep in till 830 or so (and would prob go longer but freaks her Dada out so he goes in and checks her and she automatically wakes up!!)Haha. We never know with her! Just thankful she sleeps all night!! 

Best Moment: I would say these last couple of weeks she turned into a big Mama's girls. I love it. She'll pat my back and if I ask her for a kiss...plants one right on my lips!!!  

Worst Moment: Humm...nothing really this last month. 

Eating: She usually will have an early to

She loves drinking from a straw or sippy cup. Just like her big sis did. She could careless about those lovely *expensive* bottles. She loves to sit in the high chair and eat like a big girl. She's tried many different table foods and even a graham cracker. She's done very well...good thing! Haha

Extras: She is sooo very scared of the vaccume cleaner. Like can't even stand to see it without it even plugged in! It's so sad. She can't be in the same room as it, wants to see me at all times, and will wake if I vaccume when she sleeps...so guess what?!? Hahahaha

Arbor Victoria- 8 months old

Age: 8 months

Height: 26 3/4inches

Weight: 16lbs 2oz we gained 1lb!!!! Ayns kinda did the same thing around this age and weighed in at 16lbs 6oz. 

Milestones: I feel like this is the month that she grew and learned so much in just a week span. She's def getting too big these days.

- She eats puffs all my herself with her two cute little "pincher" fingers. 

- She army crawls solo (allllll over the house) 3.7.16

- She can say, "Hi" (2.4), "Mama" (3.7), "Nana" ( 3.13), "Dada" (3.14). 

- She plays.."peek-a-boo," "sooo BIG," and waves hi and bye!! 

Sleep: 

Naps- 945-1130a or so.. Then again around 1pm-330 or 4pm. Depending on her last nap of the day, will depend on if she takes a 45min nap around 445 or so.

Bed- Bath around 7-730pm. Bed time around 730p or 8pm. She wakes anywhere from 5-645am to nurse, then right back to bed till about 8a or so!

Best Moment: Watching her little eyes have such JOY in them when she is experiencing or seeing something new. She LOVES her sis and Daddy. She's the sweetest (and crabbiest at times haha). 

Worst Moment: She is much more content these days. She loves being able to explor on the floor. I think we have her tummy issues (pooping) figured out. So besides a little runny nose..this month was a GOOD month!! 

Eating: She usually early, early am (5-645am), 9am, 1230pm, 415pm, then before bed. Some days she has one more session shoved in there. But we have to nurse away from others or else she will be too distracted too eat!! 

She loves, LOVES to eat!! Puffs, yogurt puffs anything she can do solo is her fav! She's tried: 

- pears

-peaches

- sweet potatoes

- peas

- mangos

-carrots

-banana

- baby yogurt (peaches and pears). 

I've been slower with her due to her having tremendous pain every time she would eat something, up until she would poop. Thankfully she is a daily pooper (I know y'all wanted to know...but I'm sure someday she will care ;) ) these days!! 

Extras: Bath time is her JAM!! She LOVES it. Like loves!!! We are so excited for summer time and can't wait to spend out days at the pool!!! 

Arbor Victoria- 7 months old

Age: 7 months

Height: 26 1/2inches

Weight: 15lbs 2oz poor babe hasn't gained much thanks to being sick!! 

Milestones: Sits up solo, tried puffs for the first time- 2/12/16(and picked them up herself), loves to wave, got on all fours (with a little assistance) and rocked back n forth, cut two bottom teeth (1/30/16 and 2/5/16).

Sleep: She usually goes to bed between 730-8pm. Wakes between 430-6am, eats, and back to sleep till 8-9am. Depending on when she wakes. She's usually back down by 930-1030am and sleeps 2hrs. Awake for 2hrs. Usually naps around 2pm till 4pm. Then she usually naps from 530-615pm. 

Some days are better than this...some days are worse! She always keeps us on our toes!! 

Best Moment: Her saying "hi!" And waving! She loves her Daddy and big sister can make her smile at anytime! 

Worst Moment: She was so sick for most of the end of Jan and start of February. Started with a cold, then teething, got the croup, added another tooth, then got the lovely gastroenteritis!! 

Eating: She usually eats between early am, 9am, noon, 330pm, 6pm, and bedtime. Some days she can make it every four hrs but she isn't a fan of going to long between feeds (she's my baby..what can I say ;)). She loves puffs and her new self feeder. She's tried, pears, sweet potatoes, peaches, peas, and carrots. 

Extras: The other night when I was getting both girls ready for a bath (Dom was working) I had to make multiple trips into the bathroom. When I made a trip in there just to put their PJs down and had to go back and grab their lotions, Arbor immediately started crying as soon as we walked out of the bathroom. She had the saddest (hurt feelings cry!). She loves bath time. It's seriously her most favorite time of day. She can be in a horrible mood and you give her a bath and she is a new girl!! 💗

Age: 6 months

Height: 26 1/4 inches (55th percentile)

Weight: 15lbs (25th percentile) 

Milestones: Sits un-supported for a good amt of time. I still wouldn't leave her sitting up by herself but she does well! 12.31.15- She rolled over from back to tummy. She now does it multiple times. She's even pushed her self up and moved from one end of her play mat to the other. 1/10/16- She waved "bye-bye." We've been working with her on this for awhile and she finally did it for her Daddy first. Nana and Poppa were over and also got to see. Thankfully, once I got up she did it again for Mama! She blows spit bubbles and loves to eat her toes!!

Sleep: She can still be a stinker. She's that baby that if I allowed it wouldn't nap, would be a total pain, and would wake up several times at night! Thankfully I noticed this early on and made sure we established a good routine. Baby wise has def been a great tool! Now with that said, there is still hard days but thankfully she is really starting to become a good sleeper!! Her day starts between 830-930. Most days it's right around 0900. She usually wants to eat, play briefly, then go right back down for a nap. So by 1000-1030am she's usually back down for a nap. Her cues for needing a nap are simply an increase in fussiness. She could play on her playmat or exersaucer for hrs, but once she's sleepy she just wants her bed. Her eyes might not show it but as soon as she gets into her room she's flying out of my arms. We still use the Merlin sleep suit and she always goes down with a Paci (very rarely does it fall out and if it does she's okay with it being out!). A friend made her a flat taggie lovie and she loves going to bed with that! She usually sleeps for 1.5-2hrs in the morning. So by noon-1230pm she is up. She'll nurse right away then play till about 1:30-230pm. She then goes back to sleep till about 430-5pm. Sometimes she does take a 45min nap from 545pm-630pm just so she's not super crabby. We start getting ready for bed around 730pm and she's down for bed by 8-830pm. 

The end of December we (or I should just say I) started CIO. She was waking at the same time every night (between 3-4am) and I knew it was just Bc she was used to be feeding her and putting her back to sleep. The first night she cried on and off for thirty min. The 2nd night she didn't even cry for 10min. The third night it was less than five. The fourth night she sleep until 5:30am!! Well- then our world got rocked and we had to travel to NJ unexpectedly. She did great the first two nights in NJ but after that she would wake around 4am east coast time. I didn't want everyone in the house to wake Bc of her so she got fed and went right back to sleep. She never uses her Paci in the middle of the night..even if I try and give it to her it makes her more mad usually. We  got back home from NJ the 9th and have since started again. 1.11.16 she only cried for 10min and woke to eat again at 545am. It broke this Mama's heart to let her cry a little but I knew when she was wake consistently at same time it was time to do something. As of today she's been on a roll of not waking till after 530am, eating, and sleeping till 8:30 or so!!! Yahoooo!!!

Best Moment: She smiles ALL the time. She is a little snuggler and loves open mouth kisses!!

Worst Moment: Their Grandma Sharon passed away and went to be with Jesus on 12.27.15. Arbs got her first plane ride and did fabulous. She hasn't fallen asleep in my arms since she was a babe so that was a sweet little treat.

Eating: She usually eats between 530-630am. Then eats around 9a, 12ish, 4ish, 6ish, and then right before bed. We tried solids (oatmeal, pears, and sweet pots) but towards end of Dec we stopped Bc she was extremely fussy and I don't think her tummy was ready. We have recently tried pears again and also peas...so far so good! We can't even eat around her anymore wihout hearing her whine. Hahaha

Extras: She LOVES bath time, her big sis, her jumpy- wall thing, exersuacer, singing sons, playing with her new piano, and her bed!! This 1/2 Birthday has been super emotional for me. Can't believe my baby is 6months away from being a big girl. She will soon be keeping up with her sis and this Mama is not ready for all that. Please stay little, stink! We love you to the moon and can't wait to watch you learn and explore this crazy world!! xoxoxo
