In honor of her "due-date" here is a little bit about her birthDAY (4/8/13).
Our bright eyed beauty at around 1 hr old. |
Her first name was something that I believe I just stumbled across on nameberry.com. Check out what Aynslee means and all the unique spellings -->HERE. My friend Tiffany and I tossed around a lot of names. I loved "A" names and wanted something unique but not over the edge. Lou is a family name. My grandmother and mother's middle name along with mine are all Lou. Dom was very insistent that we used Lou with our first born girl but I was always hesitant. BUT i'm so happy that he was because I love it now that I say it a million times a day!! ;)
Last prego pic. Loved this gown that my Mama got for me. It was so nice to be comfortable and in something "clean." Check out where I got my cute gown HERE (the ladies that started this gown company, Posh Pushers all use to be OB nurses). |
Listening to our sweet girls heart beat for 8 hours straight was a sweet gift.Since I was on pitocin and they broke my water, I was only able to stay close to my bed so they could monitor her heart rate. I was able to use a birthing ball and that was lovely.
I went from 6-9cm in 20 minutes. I was about to start pushing in this picture. Thankfully I was able to get an epidural at 6cm even though I don't think it fully worked....pitocin is no joke...OUCH! :)
I pushed for 45 minutes (worst part of the whole labor) but meeting our sweet girl for the first time was all worth it. Love at first sight!!
Love this little girl soooo much!!
We are definitely lucky ladies. Thankful for such a wonderful, loving, and encouraging husband. <3
