My Fav Baby Items: 2 Months

Johnson hands and face wipes: This is probably my very favorite item!! I love the multiple uses you can get from these. Plus, the smell amazing! Must have!!!

Crane Humidifier: Aynslee gets really dry nose boogers..this has helped to soften them up and breathe easier at nigh night time :)

Graco Jogging Stroller: Love this stroller. The front wheel is able to lock in place for jogging or move freely for everyday use. Plus, our Graco connect carseat (they don't match) fits perfectly inside.

Tommee Tippee Bottles: Aynslee loves these. They don't hurt her belly and they are great bottles for breast fed babies!!

Butt Paste: If your child has a Daddy like my Husby you need this stuff!! We (He) use(s) it all the time even if there is no rash. It doesn't stink like many other rash cream and it takes away the rash in just a few hours (depending on the severity). This is even the butt paste our Drs recommend at work ;)

Pampers Swaddlers: the best diapers. I love the sensitive ones but the regular swaddlers are just as great!! Just a little advice..stay clear of the "baby dry" pampers. They caused Ayns to breakout and have heard that several other Moms avoid them too for that reason...

Target play yard: Nana got us this during Black Friday sale at Target. Such a great gift. It keeps Aynslee entertained for long periods of time. Also great as a tummy time mat.

Bunny Bouncy seat: Very comfortable, doesn't take up much space, and has a vibrating/music options. We use this a lots ever since Aynslee has liked to see the world. Works great when I need to get ready in the bathroom and want her in the same room as me :)

Aynslee Lou- 2 months old

Aynslee Lou- 2 months old

Age: 2 months

Height: 22inches, puts her in 30th percentile for height (I'm sure this will change soon :))

Weight: 11lbs 12oz (70th percentile for weight)

Milestones: Aynslee started to smile. She has the cutest/biggest smile. I'm so lucky to be her Mama! She also started to coo and loves when you repeat after her. She loves to sit facing forward when you hold her to make sure she doesn't miss out on any action.

Sleep: She still is sleeping and taking all naps in her crib. She is sleeping from 9-930p till 5-530am most nights. She has done one night of 9pm-730am. She is such a good little sleeper. So thankful!!

Best Moment: Seeing her smile. She also went on her first road trip to meet some of our family that lives in Minnesota. It's always nice seeing family that we miss dearly!! Aynslee did fabulous in the car (will have a post soon about traveling with a breast fed babe).

Worst Moment: 2 mnth shots. That tetanus shot is no fun!!

Eating: Aynslee is still breastfeeding every 3-4 hours during the day. She eats only on one side for about 5-10 minutes. I was afraid that she was not getting enough but clearly she is getting plenty ;)

Extras: I went back to work so Ayns has had a few sleep overs with Nana and Poppa and a few nights hanging out with Daddy solo. I'm so lucky to have such a flexible schedule so that Ayns doesn't have to go to daycare and that people whom love her can watch her!!

Go-2 Pasta Dish

Being a new Mommy, I'm always looking for fast but yummy (and semi-healthy) meals. This pizza pasta recipe is super easy and makes for great left overs!!

Pizza Pasta:
1 Box Pasta (you can use any type of noodle..whole wheat or regular)
1 can red pasta sauce-any flavor works
1 pkg sausage (I buy the already cooked in the pkg like the hot dogs. I get turkey sausage)
1 pkg turkey pepperonis
1 small pkg of deli ham
1 pkg of shredded cheese.
--> as you can tell from the above list you can use as little or as much of each ingredient. There is much variety so it's sometimes fun to change it up (except my Husby hates when I change a recipe so I do the same one every time :( )

Directions:
1. Cook pasta per directions on pkg
(In the mean time cut up sausage and ham and place in microwave safe container and warm up. Also, warm oven to 350 degrees)
2. Mix in 3/4 jar of sauce with cooked noodles.
3. Pour noodles into a 9x13 pan as pictured below.
4. Layer pepperonis on top of noodles.
5. Layer on some cheese
6. Layer evenly on top of the cheese the sausage and ham.
7. Pour remainder of sauce.
8. Add another layer of pepperoni.
9. Add cheese to top.
10. Place in warmed oven (350 degrees) until cheese is bubbling.
11. ENJOY :)
