34 week bump-date (baby #2)

How far along: 34 weeks..time needs to sloooowwwww down!!!

Gender: GIRL!!! So excited for Aynslee to have a sissy!!

Weight gain: too much..but I'll just keep thinking it's water and an increase in blood volume. Hahaha

Stretch marks: Nope *fingers crossed* Ordered some new stuff called Hollywood Cocoa butter cream! I just make sure my belly is ALWAYS moist and chug the H2O!!

Maternity clothes: All I wear these days when I'm not in scrubs or pjs!

Sleep: Been fine..I wake up to go pee a million times but I have no problem falling back asleep!!! I love to take a nap during the day...but I feel like I need to use that time to get stuff accomplished...

Best moment this week: Aynslee really talking and understanding that the arrival of her sissy isn't too far away!! She's sooo excited and all about being my "big helper!"

Worst moment this week: Just the back pain and round ligament pain. But nothing like it was last the last two weeks!

Miss anything: Bending over and picking stuff up off the floor with ease. Also, keeping up with my toddler has been hard to do these days!!

Movement: She def is a mover! Love it!!! Never really got to feel Aynslee's body parts but this little girl let's me feel everything!!!

Cravings: Watermelon, sweets, and provolone cheese.

Queasy or sick: No! Thank goodness!!!

Looking forward to: Getting her cloth Dipes washed and ready (we are planning on doing cloth a 100% during the day after her meconium is done) and buying a few last things we need. Ayns also starts "school" on Thursdays so I'm excited about having five hours to get some other house things done!!

32 week bump-date (baby #2)

How far along: 32 weeks..eeekk!!

Gender: GIRL!!! So excited for Aynslee to have a sissy!!

Weight gain: too much..but I'll just keep thinking it's water and an increase in blood volume. Hahaha

Stretch marks: Nope *fingers crossed*

Maternity clothes: Got myself some lovely white capris. They are from Target and are super comfy. They just have the elastic top so I'll be able to wear there post-baby too!

Sleep: I've been experiencing the worst lower back pain...it literally knocks me off my feet. The other night I was up every couple of hours trying to get comfortable. Not like me..I can sleep through anything usually!! Going to a chiro now and started wearing my belly band allllll the time. Hoping for some relief ASAP!!

Best moment this week: Having a good 32 week Dr. Apt. Also, Ayns just loves her sissy. I pray it continues when baby boo arrives. It's the best feeling ever when she comes up and kisses my belly out of no where!!

Worst moment this week: Just the back pain. Never had this with Ayns so it's been a huge "slower downer."  Thankfully baby girls room is pretty much done but my poor daughter sure misses Mama holding her.... Hoping seeing this chiropractor who specializes in pregnant gals will bring some relief soooooooon!!!

Miss anything: Working out. Dom did a body building show this last weekend and seeing all those fit girls really gave me the itch to get back into the gym!! Maybe one day I'll do a bikini comp ;)) Hahahaha

Movement: She def is a mover! Love it!!! Never really got to feel Aynslee's body parts but this little girl let's me feel everything!!!

Cravings: WATERMELON AND ICE CREAM

Queasy or sick: No! Thank goodness!!!

Looking forward to: Finishing my to-do list and *knowing* that I'll make it past 34 weeks with no preeclampsia! So far so good...praise the Lord!!!

30 week bump-date (baby #2)

How far along: 30 weeks..it's going by wayyyyyy to fast!!

Gender: GIRL!!! So excited for Aynslee to have a sissy!!

Weight gain:...eeekk! LOL

Stretch marks: Still Nada!! I have a feeling I'm not going to get so lucky this time...

Maternity clothes: I live in my scrubs and PJs! But I did get some cute stuff from a local non-maternity store (the shorts and short in the 30 week pic...and loveeee them!!). On the hunt for some white pants/shorts!!

Sleep: No change. Except I could prob sleep for 24hrs straight (minus the bathroom breaks). Having a toddler, working nights, and being prego is a terrible combo!!

Best moment this week: Aynslee got to feel her sissy kick. Now whenever she kicks and she's on my lap or laying by me..she gets very excited and thinks sis is trying to "play" with her!! We also had a 4D sono done and that was wonderful!!

Worst moment this week: We did yard work and just missed being able to bend and move and get up like normal haha!

Miss anything: Sub sandwiches and sleeping on my tummy!

Movement: Yes! Lots and lots. She is a mover. Moves soooo much and it's so cool Bc you can see every move on the outside!

Cravings: onions and anything sweet!!

Queasy or sick: No! Thank goodness!!!

Looking forward to: Going through all of Ayns clothes and finishing getting her closet ready!! Oh- and some pictures printed!!

Gender: GIRL!!! So excited for Aynslee to have a sissy!!

Weight gain: 21+ lbs...eeekk!

Stretch marks: Nope! I have a feeling I'm not going to get so lucky this time...

Maternity clothes: I live in my scrubs and PJs!

Sleep: No change. Except I could prob sleep for 24hrs straight (minus the bathroom breaks). Having a toddler, working nights, and being prego is a terrible combo!!

Best moment this week: Repeat sono!!

Worst moment this week: Feeling large and in charge :)

Miss anything: Being able to get up off the ground easily and JIMMY JOHNS!

Movement: Yes! Lots and lots. Her favorite time is 3am!!!

Cravings: onions and anything sweet!!

Queasy or sick: No! Thank goodness!!!

Looking forward to: Hopefully finishing up her baby room and getting some new flowers planted in the yard!

Aynslee Lou- 24 months old

Age: 24months

Height: 35 inches

Weight: 26.7lbs! We will weigh her at Dr. Next week but this is nakey on home scale!!

Milestones: -Someone is officially potty-trained during the day as of 3.15.15. She has officially been napping without a diaper since 3.29.15. I haven't been brave enough to try night time. We had to just cut pull-ups all the way out Bc she was using them as a crutch. Since March she has had one pee accident and one pooping accident...both on Nana/Poppa's watch ;))!!
-Aynslee knows her ABC's and can count to 10 (sometimes skips over four and five).
-Can put on her own pants, socks, and moccs. Still needs help with her shirt. She is good at pulling down her pants and undies to use the potty now too!
-She says "I love you" first and then wants an immediate response of "I love you, too!"
-She talks, talks, talks!! Some of her favs are, "oh goodness" "hold you little bit" "I love you, too" "NO!" "Stop it!"

Sleep: Goes to bed between 7-8pm and wakes up between 0645-0800. Sleep has definitely been interesting these last couple of weeks. Aynslee learned how to turn a door handle so if she would wake just from a toss and turn she would immediately get up and come into our room. We quickly put a stop to it and she has to stay in her room until 0700. Thankfully the last week she has been sleeping in till 0730. She still (90% of the time) takes a 2-2 1/2 hr nap every afternoon. She goes down for a nap between 1-230pm. Hoping she continues with the good sleeping habits when her baby sister arrives.....zzzZzz!

Best Moment: Nana took the girls to see Disney on Ice. She absolutely loved it and loved the time with her cousins! Being potty trained I feel like is a huge accomplishment and one I wanted to be checked off before sis arrives :).

Worst moments: Her SCREAMS!! This girl is ornery, strong willed, and oh-so independent!! She knows how to test her Mama and Daddy!!

Eating: She still loves to eat...but on her own time! Of course, my strong willed child likes to be in control of when and what she eats...Ughhh!! Well- this mama doesn't offer choices for meals. You get what you get and you eat it or no "sweet treat!" This has worked wonders. She might not eat it during meal time but she knows that she has to eat it before she gets anything else to eat!!!

Extras: This has been a year of so many joys and firsts!! I can't believe she is two!! I can't wait to see what this year brings and how she adapts into the role of being a big sister. We are so thankful to have this little girl as our first born and love her to the moon and back!! <3 <3

Aynslee's 2nd Birthday Party

Happy Birthday, sweet TWO yr old!!

Aynslee loves the water and going to the swimming pool. So I couldn't think of a better party than a "Splashin' Birthday Party!!"

Our local YMCA has the best party packages and several differnet activity options to pick from. They provide the cake/cupcakes, ballons, party favors, and all plastic stuff! It was perfect for this lazy-prego- Mama!!

I of course couldn't not do anything so Ayns and I made a few fun "treats" for her friends as well!!

The things you need to make a swimming fish sweet treat.
1. Blue candy (m&ms, sixlets, jelly beans etc..). You will use this as your "water."- Nifty Nut House
2. Clear plastic bags with ties- Dollar Tree
3. Swedish Fish- Dollar Tree

I just picked my sixlets and jelly beans together and placed them in the bottom of the clear plastic bags. You can make them as full as you want...

Next up is adding the fish. If you didn't want to use something sweet here gold fish would be another perfect option. Again, use as little or as many as you want. We did TWO for the birthday girl ;).

All done!! You can use the ties the bags come with or get your own cute ribbon. I placed these in another goodie bag but you could also add a little note to these as a little "thank you!!"

I knew the YMCA provided a goodie bag but wasn't so sure what all it had..I found this cute sand-pail goodie bag idea on pinterest and then added some of Aynslee's favorite things.
1. Homemade Bubble Guppies coloring book
2. Goldfish pack- Sams
3. Crayons- Dollar Tree
4. Bubbles- Dollar Tree
5. Sand Castle Pail - Dollar Tree
6. Bubble guppie tattoos- Party City
7. Homemade swimmin' fish treat bag

Aynslee had so much fun with her cousins and friends!!

Miss anything: Going up stairs without getting out of breath, cold cut sandwiches, and sleeping in (although this has to do with my toddler ;) )
